Dalhousie University

According to the QS World University Rankings for 2022, Dalhousie University is one of the top 300 universities worldwide. For undergraduate, master’s, and doctorate students, they provide 18 scholarships that are open to international applicants.

Chinese Scholarship Council – PhD Scholarship

The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) offers financial aid to students who want to study for a doctorate overseas. Since Dalhousie has supported students receiving financial aid from the CSC program for more than ten years, it is a preferred host institution for recipients of CSC scholarships.

Each year, CSC offers financing for up to four years to 20 new Ph.D. candidates. During that time, each student’s Dalhousie supervisor will provide money to cover tuition and other costs.

The most excellent applicant who applied to the institution to further their studies will receive the University of Toronto Scholars Program prize.
President’s Scholars of Excellence Program: This scholarship is given to a student who is applying to the first year of undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and is chosen based on their exceptional academic performance.
The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program is the most prestigious and competitive scholarship offered by the University of Toronto. It is given to applicants who have demonstrated academic and creative excellence as well as strong leadership qualities while completing their secondary education.


University Of Western Ontario

International President’s Entrance Scholarships: These will be given to foreign students who enroll at the University of Western Ontario full-time, have exceptional academic abilities, have imaginative and creative ideas, and have made a major contribution to extracurricular activities. An essay and a nomination from their school are required components of the National Scholarship application that students must complete.
Students who are enrolling in the university for the first time following post-secondary education are eligible for the Western Admission Scholarship Program.

The Schulich Leader Scholarship is given to students who have excelled academically, have shown they are capable of thinking creatively and innovatively, have a thirst for learning more, and who aim to pursue careers in technology, innovation, engineering, or scientific research.
The Virginia Harris International Admission Scholarships are given each year to the two full-time international undergraduate students who have earned the highest admission averages and are not already receiving an admission scholarship. These students are entering their first year of study in any program.
International students with strong academic credentials who enroll in the first year of a UG program are eligible for the Dr. Amit Chakma International Scholarship.


George Brown College

International Student Scholarship – This is one of the scholarships available to foreign students studying in Canada who enroll full-time in any program during any academic year. Additionally, they must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Certificate Post-Secondary Scholarship for International Students – Awarded to students who enroll full-time in a certificate or post-graduate program at George Brown. A 3.5 GPA is required as a minimum.
Scholarships for International Education (Outbound) are offered by Scotia Bank and given to students in any academic year. A minimum GPA of 3.0 and involvement in academic activities are necessary.
